Finding My Pearl begins with asking yourself, “What matters, truly matters, to you?” Is it going to be financial freedom in your future? A meaningful relationship or your own personal growth with positive thinking? Take a day or two to consider your answer.
When I was growing up, I really did think I would find my pearl, whether it was going to be a person to become the love of my life or the occupation that would fulfill all my dreams. And, of course, I wanted all to happen. Life happens, as we say, and sometimes it throws you for a loop and then won’t let you off that loop.
What are My Dreams for Finding My Pearl?
Further, my life’s journey was not everything I wanted it to be. I ended up in that loop of life. My dreams were similar to the image at the right. Exotic places to go and things to do when I got there. In addition, I wouldn’t have to worry about “how much” I was spending. In my mind, I had no stresses about money. So, I always kept that thought as a dream. But, dreams are just an “imaginary thought” because they are never actively pursued.
I Transformed My Life While Changing My Goals
I did meet some wonderful people along the way, but my circumstances would change and I would have to also change the direction that I was going. So, as things changed in my life, so did my goals and their deadlines. Accordingly, my life at times felt like the jungle with many vines to trip over and foliage so dense that you couldn’t see where you needed to go. Avoiding pitfalls became a necessary outlook for me. But, I still had my dream that I would find my pearl. This was my singular purpose, to build a constant income so I could retire in luxury.
How Would I Eventually Find My Pearl?
By this time, I was adept at changing my life’s direction. I went from my family unit to college and then on to being married then divorced. Afterwards, I moved back home. My parents once again had one of their “kids” at home along with their grandson. It was better and it was familiar. But, I wanted more. To borrow from my son, I wanted, “bigger, badder, better” for my life. And, I still was “finding my pearl.”
My Dreams and Goals Were Stalled
My journey to find my pearl seemed to be out of reach. I spent several years looking for employment that would allow me some “free time” from work and also give me the opportunity to have a “real vacation.” What I ended up with was “at the farm.” Although I worked in retail, the farm where I was staying had many daily chores. My days were packed with feeding and cleaning up after various animals.
Are My Dreams and Goals of an Online Business Out There, Yet?
This is when I started once again looking for an online business, for I still had the goals of great finances and my dreams of luxury. What could I do from home in my spare time? I did find several opportunities online and invested in different ones. There are many of them out there.
But, the requirements ended up being greater than my computer skills at that time. I was even able to receive refunds on some. Setting up a website was beyond my skill level, too. So, I finally found one I could do. It stated, “Posting Ads Online.” Finally, I found a way to act on finding my pearl, dreams and goals. Here is an example of one of our offers.
Steps to Achieving My Dreams and Goals With An Online Business
I knew that with guidance, I would be able to post ads online. This program said it would be there to help me. Obstacle number one crushed. It turned out to be a “bigger, badder, better” online business opportunity for me. I was able to believe in myself and the system I had purchased.
The instructor that I had was very patient with me as I learned to better my computer skills. I also asked a lot of questions and attended meetings to increase my understanding and skills. In this way, my dreams were transformed into goals with deadlines and I achieved success.
And, it wasn’t just one person that I pestered with questions, either. When I went to “Study Groups,” I found the answers to a lot of my questions about this online business. It is and was definitely a “learn and do” opportunity, with the emphasis on the “learn” part. Everything was all new to me.
Dreams and Goals to Finding My Pearl
Obviously, I chose to invest in myself and build my online business. I did that with both time and money. It has been my own effort, with the “family group,” that I am successful with changing my dreams to reality. It’s a work in progress, too.
One of the first things I had to do was organize my time. As one of my friends said, I had to learn to say “No,” to them and “Yes,” to me. That was a harder obstacle for me to vanquish. That Google Calendar was a big help for I was constantly on the computer and I needed that setup to guide me in organization.
Stumbling Through the Dreams and Goals
Another step that was harder for me was realizing that the steps provided for me were great. Haven’t you started a job and thought, “I can do this better,” and off you go in your direction? I did, too. Consequently, I ended up at a “dead end” and no forward motion. When I complained, I was told that it “is a system, not a suggestion.” So, as is said often, I had to “Re-set, Re-focus and Re-commit” and follow the steps (and it was so much easier than what I had done).
Finding My Pearl Shaped my Dreams, Goals and Online Business
But, the End Result is as Great as I Want It To Be! Here, I am being taught that if you have a dream, you can make it a goal with a dated deadline. Then, you break it down to a workable, weekly, daily actionable effort. That makes my dreams become my reality.
Another plus is that we work in teams here. We also offer this business to others. I have a new teammate. I have discovered that my teammates are the “pearls” that I find and treasure. They share my same focus and commitment, making it a pleasurable journey.
My Online Business Team Became My Pearl
Therefore, this online business opportunity allows me to dream of more freedoms. Certainly, it is allowing me to “dream into reality” the changes in my life. This includes travel, time for myself, financial security, charity and outstanding friendships within this business. It’s a growing and global opportunity to experience the freedoms it offers.
Finding My Pearl Is No Longer Just a Dream
I shall continue doing this until I achieve my financial goal. It’s a bit more grand than I have ever dreamed. I want to be financially solvent. But, this business allows me to grow at my pace and make my dreams a reality with my own effort and their assistance.
I found my pearl (teammates) through my dreams and goals with my online business. In addition, I have a like-minded group of people around me that have become a second family. I have discovered that my treasure-chest is full of Pearls (teammates). My perspective, focus, dreams and goals changed to “achievable” when I found this online business.
