Google AdSense Approval and My Journey and Victory

Google AdSense Approval and My Journey and Victory. My world changed when I decided to be a blogger. With my limited “blogger knowledge” I was definitely the”newbie” on the block. New language included modifying pages and blogging to get monetization by posting ads online.

One term I used myself was “meat on the bones.” Here’s what I did know–it had to be either easy or someone would have to teach me. That’s where my learning curve started “with a bang” and I started my journey into the electronic world of computers, modifying pages and actually being the author of a blog site and learning about blogging to get monetization.

The Search for “IT”

It took me over a year on the internet to find this specific blogging program. I bet I had tried 6 or 7 different “opportunities” that required more knowledge and money than I had. The memory of me trying to set up a website still makes me smile. At that time, I was able to get refunds on these programs. This program, “posting ads online,” was available and it was the one that made the most sense.

Even the person on the phone call explained what I would be doing. I thought, “Great! I get to make my dreams a reality and just post ads.” It turned out to be a greater opportunity and I become part of a team of like-minded people. What a blessing!

Obstacles Turned Into Hurdles

Sure, I had been on the computer, but it was only for games and gmail. So, when I started, everything was a new experience and felt like an obstacle. Then, I decided to change my focus and consider it like a hurdles race. That book I read, Marketing Is Freedom, had given the right idea for me.

Now, I had always wanted to be a writer, so modifying pages didn’t seem so daunting. Yet, there was a double-digit group of pages to modify. My Grandfather had always told me to “divide and conquer” when I would complain about a big wood project he let me work on. So, I used this attitude here. It suited my mindset.

Modifying Pages is a Skill All Its Own

Google AdSense Approval and My Journey and Victory-I started my journey toward success.

This opportunity to be a business partner was great, but this first step felt huge. The material for each page was given, but I needed to put my own spin on every idea that I read in the page. This is the hardest and most time-consuming part of our system. Finally, I analzed each pragraph and found most contained 10 sentences. I worked on them one sentence at a time. This worked for me. I heard about Google AdSense approval, but I didn’t know what it was at this time.

Every page completed took less time, too. Then, of course, I realized I had to be OCD about the format. Intro paragraph, body of the page, and concluding paragraph. In addition, there were images that needed to be added to my page. And don’t forget, we had a specific goal of at least 800 words per page (you could use more, if necessary).

More About Modifying Pages

Google AdSense approval also wants “meat on the bones” type of content and in your own words. We are told, “no one else talks or writes like you do” and that is exactly what is necessary. However, you do need something to write about. I didn’t think my life was that interesting and really was “bummed out” about that.

My subconscious mind took pity on me and I had a dream one night of all the times that I had fallen in my life. Yes, I wrote a page about that subject! Another blogger decided to write about her granddaughter’s take on the Olympics. My mentor wrote a page about her own health problem, diabetes. Another business partner, who has a dog, wrote about a lost kitten that showed up. That cat had to leave. As I said, no one writes like you do.

The Stability of Rank Math SEO

When I was in school, the outline was emphasized to give any subject continuity. Now, we use the Rank Math SEO (search engine optimization) format. This is the basis for each page and gives every page the setup. The emphasis on keywords shows you how well your content is giving you that “meat on the bones” of your subject.

If you are finding it difficult to even write about a subject, then do some more research. Use that AI research on your computer to add “more meat” to your page. You may surprise yourself. That’s what happened to me when I decided to highlight the Women’s History Month of March (2024). I choose one woman born on each day of the month. It took time for me to do that, but I was happy with the result. This is an example of the “additional content” that Google AdSense approval likes.

Don’t feel like you have to copy my effort, but do your own thing. Everyone’s life is different. Pick out one thing you remember well and write about it. If you really love food, or smoking meats, write about that. Do you like art? Then, write about that. How about sports? Fishing can be just your thing, or my other friend said they used to do “R-V-ing.”

Remember that Reader’s Digest you loved to read? We are doing the same thing here, a page at a time. Google AdSense approval loves this type of content.

How I Prepared for Google AdSense Approval

Google AdSense Approval and My Journey and Victory--the eye you need to be posting ads online

Last but not least, I was introduced to a way to check my page for plagiarism. You know, taking someone else’s words “perzactly” (my Dad would say this) and using them as if they were yours. My goal was 10 percent or less of plagiarism. Yes, as I started this jouney of modifying many pages, I checked every page.

Some were not so bad (7 percent) while others needed more work (20 percent). This program highlighted each instance of plagiarism, so I knew what section needed work. This is the first hurdle when double-checking your pages. After you do modify all pages, you will want to submit all to receive your approval. (This is one area that they changed after I applied.)

Still Getting Ready

You have to realize that I was still working when I started this system. In addition, I was the unofficial caretaker for my landlady and went to part-time work. Afterwards, her health declined and she passed away and by this time, I was retired. I helped the family for the next 6 months and then had to move to another residence. So, after the first year and a half with my blog site, I was still modifying pages.

Then, in this period of 2020’s, AI use was growing and people were tempted with an “easy path of writing.” Thank goodness I was instructed that that path was not one to take. It is considered plagairism. Later, I discovered the reason–my blog site would be presented to Google AdSense approval for scrutiny and using that AI as a crutch was a “no-no.” And, I learned another new phrase, “blogging to get monetization.” That’s the road that Google AdSense approval will map out for you.

Applying for Google AdSense Approval

Now, after I had moved, I was able to complete my pages after 6 more months. This brought me to January, 2025. I wanted to present my blog site. Two things for sure have to be done. First, it’s a definite process, one that you will want help with. So, my first step was to go to my upline and ask for her to review my site. She warned me that if she even found 1 error, she would tell me to fix it, because the Google AdSense system would quit at that point.

They notify by email that it is “not accepted” for “thin content”, two gmail addresses, or that error my upline discovered (it was in the formatting of my Category pages). Note that thin content could refer to the total traffic your site has. In our system, we know that you need to be posting ads online in a consistent manner to keep your traffic numbers high.

In our business, any email you receive from Google AdSense you will need to contact your upline and let them know. Keep that email, too. It is similar to a contract that they will place ads on your site. This is the definition of your blogging to get monetization journey.

I was so new, I didn’t know to do this. Later, in June, 2025, I received a note saying that my application was going to be deactivitated in 30 days, if I didn’t continue with my processing. What? So, I did what I am saying, I contacted my upline. But, I had waited almost three weeks and was in a time crunch.

My Journey Had Just Started

My Victory and Journey Earning Google AdSense Approval--my journey turned into a long road.

First, I hit a snag with my tax information and had to wait 24 hours for it to be approved. Well, it turned out that I was going upline once more after that, because that stopped the whole process. Just before our meeting, I received an email stating that I had been approved. Now, we finally realized they had changed the process and scrambled to follow directions.

I still had an error in the internal/external section, but that didn’t seem to bother the approval. (My teammate found that one.) Yes, I went back to the last email that I had received, and the image had changed to a completed puzzle image! We “gotter done” and Rory took charge and placed the approval code on my site. Success at last! And YES, my team celebrated with me, too, because we were at a team meeting! (I will include an update when I get my first blogging monetization income from them, I promise!)

From “Newbie” to a First Season Veteran

As with any business, I started at the beginning. My journey increased from part-time to full-time with the addition of Google AdSense to my blog site. Now, my dreams of success have changed from just a dream to my reality! My computer skills have increased, too.

AI holds a place in my skill set, for I have learned about prompts and the skill of “how to” questions. And, No, I have not traveled this jouney alone. I have personal mentors, teammates and like-minded people that have helped and encouraged me at all times.

Remember that I said things may change in the world of Google AdSense approval? Well, that is what happened to me just shortly after that first note of approval. Now, I have to go through with “a fine-tooth comb” my Dad would say. There were other changes, too, so it was a longer wait for me to ask for another application.

It has been a definite OCD journey, because I was looking at many things. I will soon be sending my site for approval in the next week. I have learned so much. But, this is my victory and journey earning Google Adsense approval!
