About Us. Glad you are here. This page is going to tell you exactly who is behind Nola’s Global Skies and whether this is the right place for you. Your perspective may be different than mine, but that just makes life interesting. I like facts, but I like to tell a story, better. And if you have ever felt like your dreams were just out of reach, you are not alone. That’s the main reason I chose this blog site. It changes what I can accomplish with my dreams and I can show that you can, too.
Who I Am and Where I Come From
I am Nola Case. I was born and raised in Southern Illinois. After high school, I received a college degree in teaching Physical Education with a minor in Health. This is the foundation of a lifelong interest in how people function and grow in health and fitness.
Twenty years I was in education and substitute teaching in K-12. I learned more than patience, it taught me how people actually learn. I became adept at helping students learn, no matter their skill level. I also spent many years in the GED program at the local junior college for those needing to finish high school.
I switched to retail to offset the three months of no income with substitute teaching. I continued learning communication skills with customers, the daily work ethic and consistent work schedules. I had moved to a farm and it added another layer of responsibility and time allotment, no matter the weather and no excuses. Consistency was a hard teacher and it transfers directly to this work.
This work has both self-education and self help built into it. The very first action is reading the book Marketing is Freedom. Before I started this in 2022, I searched on the internet and tried six different systems. My level of ability was minimal with copy/paste and Gmail skills. So, this choice was an informed decision, because they promised to enhance and educate my skills. Yes, they have and I am still here learning, building and growing in my business skills.
For the Ones Who Never Quite Quit Dreaming
After retirement, I was seriously searching to improve my budget. A 45-minute conversation with a stranger (who became my instructor) changed my life’s direction. She challenged me to start dreaming and showed me I could actually afford the starting point. More importantly, it was worth investing in myself. That was the first lesson. It took some work afterwards to believe it.
For years, I set my own dreams aside because I could not see how to afford them. Not the money part but the belief part. That was the harder fix. You may be one of the ones who were told by life to slow down, settle, or stop and something in you refused. That conversation, my search online and my own belief in myself added to the business foundation needed to accomplish my success. The result is Nola’s Global Skies. I started at zero, just like every partner.
What This Site Actually Is
This is an independent web-based marketing business site. I use research tools, share what works, and partner with brands I trust and personally use. Every page is originally researched and written, with sources listed. It is important for me to have real recommendations only, from my own experience or from people I actually know who have used the products. Nola’s Notes appear on occasion with my own common sense notes or comments.
My love of art drew me to the Arts and Entertainment section. My interest has me visiting museums. This includes the local ones I have visited, ones I still dream about, and even a quilt museum in Paducah, KY. That interest in quilts still makes me smile.
I write to give you something new, useful or an extra nudge of encouragement. I organize various content in cluster groups so you can pick what you need without reading everything. Each page is written to stand on its own merit.
Communication is vital. I am human and may “bobble” with something in an article. If you find one, let me know so I can correct it. I would also appreciate any other comment you wish to leave with me. The form is on the side of the page.
Who Shows Up Here
My answer is somebody and everybody. Stay-at-home parents. Grandparents. Retirees (that’s my group). Blue-collar and white-collar professionals. People who have felt written off as too old, too broke, too late, too something. Everyone is welcome here if they are willing to do the work. Dreams do not work unless we do. The nice thing? It builds at your speed, not anyone else’s.
What We Build
Our educational foundation comes first in the form of skills first. We offer our unique library of skills, the Learning Management System for everyone. You can read, absorb, take quizzes and follow step-by-step instructions in each course. This is a no cost opportunity.
When I say “we” I mean it. Our community is built around leaders Rory and Tanya Ricord, co-creators of the Pay It Forward philosophy that drives everything we do. These two lead our teams and their guidance is the reason we have real success. Here is what I have discovered:

This is not get-rich-quick. We build smart by expanding others’ knowledge first. This is the “pay it forward” goal in action. Educational foundation before freedom. We are real people building and growing this web-based marketing business as a Legacy.
We have guidelines, within the marketing business, set up for your achievement level. That’s how we build success. Everyone has their own agenda of efforts and goals. Your success is based on your own personal efforts and goals within these guidelines.
