Free Computer Apps can be a “rabbit hole.” As a result, research led me to TheFreeSite.com with various categories. Secondly, MySavings.com had a list of various sites. Certainly, take a look at these Free Computer Apps.
The Free Site is a Free Computer App
This first free computer apps site has a lot to offer visitors. They have over thirty categories of free. Some of the top free listings include fonts, stock photos, free graphics resources, free tech support, a second StockVault.net (photos) and seven more to round it out to the top 15 sites.
You can find these “freebies” on Facebook and Twitter (X). They also provide a weekly e-mail newsletter with current information, if you wish to subscribe to this free computer apps.
MySavings
The Second Free Computer App has over 20 pages of free offers and categories in free samples, deals, stores, sweepstakes and more. The first page has Hot Offers.
They state they are the largest free samples and freebies website. They share online deals, grocery discounts, sweepstakes and birthday freebies, and all of it vetted and tested by their experts. They are on Facebook and have over 30 divisions of free places to check out.
These were the top free computer sites that I found when I went hunting for free stuff. Some of the other marketplace and selling sites do both categories of free and sales. The rest of the list has both categories.
Marketplace and Selling Sites.
1. Listia
This is a mobile marketplace app. However, users can buy, sell and trade items. In addition, they can focus on giving away or receiving free stuff. As a user of this free compute apps, you can change your space at home. Redesign by selling items you no longer need or want.
Every time you do sell, you earn points in the process. Then, these points are used to “purchase” other items from other users or redeemed for gift cards. This free computer app includes features such as notifications, credit activity, saved searches, and badges to help everyone keep track of their activities and progress.
2. Freecycle
The Freecycle app wants to reduce waste by promoting the act of giving away used or unwanted items and also help people in need. In this way, Freecycle connects people and organizations to share free stuff. They promote this “reuse and reduce waste” philosophy while users earn credits. The users can then redeem these credits for any currently available free items.
3. Craigslist
Indeed, another free computer app, Craigslist, is a popular online marketplace. It is known for listing everything from free clothes to free stuff. Similarly, no matter what you’re looking for, there’s probably a listing for it on Craigslist.
So, I just Googled Craigslist on my phone and was pleasantly surprised that the listings included many towns and cities in my rural area. No matter what you’re looking for, there’s more than likely a listing for it on Craigslist in your area.
4. OfferUp
Letgo app merged with OfferUp in 2020. Individuals offer used items to sell or buy (plus free stuff, of course) within a set location. With this free stuff app, your transactions are done entirely online. Individuals have in-app payment and shipping options, too. Besides, you will find the app’s user-friendly design makes it super simple for nearly anyone to use it. Home, collectibles, kids, sports are a few of the categories. You do have to download the app to check into available items further. This may be what you are looking for.
5. Facebook Marketplace
Everybody has used Facebook Marketplace at one time or another, even me. Whether you searched “free furniture near me” or looked for cheap car parts, this is the place to hunt it down. Even though it is a great platform to buy and sell locally, it can be that “rabbit hole of time” that I talked about. Just with any other app, make sure to focus locally.
Another perk in the Free Computer Apps:
All You Can Books
This works on all major devices and the best part is that you Can Download for FREE!! It has (1) audiobooks, (2) e-books and (3) foreign language courses. It is free for 30 days only.
Why Declutter?
When your personal situation changes, then your needs change also. You may want to decrease the amount of furniture or clothes you have. You can help others by giving away to the free sites or the local charity business. There are always people in need from the weather or fires. Your local church could have suggestions for your decluttering process, too.
Safety Tips to Think About
Using a site or even just meeting a 1-on-1 individual, make sure you are safe. Take someone with you so you are not alone. Make sure you are in a public area, not a secluded spot. If it’s furniture or something of that nature, make sure you have enough help. Expect the unexpected at these times.
Check with your local police stations if they have a designated “safe exchange zone” in their parking lot (usually with cameras). Daytime meetings are much safer than after dark, too.
Trust your gut feelings. If they pressure you to hurry or won’t meet you in person, don’t follow through. Keep yourself safe when dealing with this type of situation and Safety Tips help.
