My budget was the problem. You could describe me as retired. But, I would have to live with someone just to make ends meet. It took me a year, checking out those half-dozen affiliate memberships. (More later on my journey.)
Then, I found this one. The “trade time for money” was not what they talked about. It was, “We are interested in helping you with your dreams.”
“Why not?” I thought. I had dreams of travel and this would provide a way to budget my money to allow me to do that. I was cautioned that it was work, but I was getting ready to retire, so I was not worried about my time frame. It was flexible.
The Starting Point of Learning
The overall meaning of online marketing and blogging was unknown to me. Everything was new. It is really about connecting and educating people through the blog business. Specifically, I did not realize that was not what I would do first.
Besides, I was realizing that my computer skills were very minimal. Those other affiliate memberships wanted me to make my own blog business! Not happening with me. And another wanted me to buy my own calling lists. I could not afford that, either. I did do that once and found I flopped at it and “money was down the drain.”
I was not successful with those other online careers. That just made me look harder online. Everything I was finding was either beyond my income or skills. Then, I got a phone call from the one that wrote “posting ads online.” Yes, I almost hung up–until she asked me where I would like to travel. That was my “push-button.”
Certainly, I was more willing to listen. She did not have to paint the big picture for me, I already had that vision in my head. That was my own stumbling block, because I was not quite ready to begin this process.
Become an Online Community Member
Now, I joined and needed to teach my brain how to be business-minded. This is what they call “mindset.” After reading the book, Marketing Is Freedom, “re-set, re-focus and re-commit” became my bywords. I was still at my “trading time for money” JOB, but had gone from full-time to part-time. That made it easier to find time for me to lay my foundation.
Your “foundation” must be laid, just as if you watch a house being built. In fact, the process is similar. Nothing is done until the foundation is built. Depending on your own efforts, it can be a short time of a month or a long time.
How long a time? Since I had family responsibilities and life happened, my time-line was longer. This career had to wait until I was able to continue. And it did.
Additionally, I had my 1-on-1 instructor and when I went to meetings, I saw others on the same path as myself. The leaders talked about the Keystone Video (above) I had watched and then went on to many other things I knew nothing about. I tried writing notes, but I was not even sure I wrote things down correctly. I knew I would figure it out.
The on-going support from the meetings, my 1-on-1 instructor and the internet research from Google and YouTube assisted my own personal growth. Think of how much you can accomplish for yourself and smile! Every step is worth it!
Performance Blogging System is a Learn-and-Do
The Performance Blogging System (PBS) is your own personal Learn-and-Do System. It works for everyone because it is a set of successful instructions. By the time you finish your starting foundation, you will be ready to continue your educational effort.
You will be educated on how the PBS is used in marketing to enhance income streams. Your beginning skills have taught you how to create content from any subject matter. Your understanding will increase, also.
Increase Your Blogging Traffic by Writing Additional Pages
During my “growth time,” I was able to write several additional pages about Bigger Dreams, Finding My Pearl and one on Get Out of Your Way. I wanted to give people a different way to consider changes in the Step Toward Your Ultimate Dreams. I chose these subjects because I had something to say. Your Online Career (blogging) allows you to express yourself in this way.
All this learning leads to your successful actions. If you are still working your JOB, you may only have 5 to 10 hours a week. A weekly goal of 20 hours, of course, will lead to more results.
Be consistent with your hours. Do adjustments as your ‘life needs’ dictate. I just wrote mine on the calendar for weekly meetings and phone calls from my instructor. It has now changed because I use my Google Calendar for everything, now. So much easier!
It is 1 Learn-and-Do, 2 Learn-and-Do, 3 Learn-and-Do and So On
Have you ever put a model plane or car together? Just compare all the pieces you had to put together for the model compared to this system. Do not look at it as “It is so long.”
Look at it as “I can break it down into smaller pieces,” and accomplish everything with the Learn-and-Do attitude. That is how the actions work for you and develop a constant income. This is also your mindset, too.
How soon do I have constant income? First, you must realize by now that this is not a “get-rich-quick” or even a scam. It is truly an online career that is “get-rich-smart.” Set your own milestones for your own journey, then compare you to you.
My Successful Online Career
Where and when did I start my career? Simply, I looked online. Provided my information online and waited for a phone call. In the meantime, I was still looking online in 2021.
Nothing was meeting my needs, which were–Not too techy, blog business provided, and resources that I could utilize. Also, I wanted a “backup person” for information so I could grow into the position. Something with a dependable history, too. Did it even exist?
Yes. This is what I found–the Performance Blogging System connected with RRR247. I was able to change both my finances and my idea of success. (Mindset, once again.) When I started in 2022, I was still a full-time employee.
Afterwards, I chose to go to part-time. After I retired, I was free to work on my blog business. But, life happens, as they say. My landlady had dementia and it was 6 months later she passed. That changed everything, again.
How Life Changes Your Life
Then, the decision was made by the family to sell the house. I moved. At the same time, my instructor had to leave due to health problems. Therefore, I was moved upline to have a different instructor to keep me in the loop. My goal of an online career had not changed, but my circumstances had improved for me to pursue my goal.
When I started, I had limited computer skills and knowledge. I was also living from paycheck to paycheck. Even with my restricted income, I was able to afford the entry purchase price. My computer skills became more expert, too.
Finding My PBS blog business, Nola’s Global Skies, was a blessing for me. You gain lifestyle benefits such as real friendships with like-minded people, the ability to work from anywhere that has internet access and live events in major cities which feel as if it is a business vacation.
How My Attitude Changed with Experience
My outlook has improved from a lukewarm acceptance to one of anticipation of great changes, goals to set with deadlines and a community of like-minded people willing to pay it forward. Every one of my struggles just made me that much more determined to succeed and led to me having even bigger dreams.
Baby steps were what I did since I had never owned my own business before. I saw the “BIG Picture” that I wanted, but there were many steps for me to build my business foundation. This transformation took time and I was willing to do it. That constant income was getting closer, too.
What 2026 Has For Me
Now, move forward to 2026 with me and discover what I have. My blog business is successful, I have learned and done many lessons and the cashflow is set up for multiplication. Some work better than others, too.
My own skill in posting ads has improved. I love having others see a unique way to have an online career that can grow with your own effort and education and our “pay it forward” attitude. Seeing others succeed alongside me is very gratifying.

- A: My best skill when I started was copy/paste. By using Google and YouTube videos, I have learned to navigate well, use a split window and go to Meetn meetings. The PBS has step-by-step instructions that give you help.

- A: There are several who were working full-time when they started this business. Others have seasonal jobs of their own, besides the PBS. So, yes, it is doable. Note that I had several “interruptions” in my journey, too. This system is flexible and works around your schedule.

- A: Remember, I had tried a half-dozen affiliate programs. They were selling only one item–their program. And they had only a single stream of income. This opportunity is different because it has many streams of income.
