You Can’t. Not Completely. And that’s exactly the point.
Starting an online business often feels uncertain at the beginning. Real business growth begins long before we see visible results.
You start with a small investment. It’s like opening the seed packet. The cost of entry feels almost too small to matter. But inside that tiny investment is everything you need to grow something remarkable. Tomato seeds.
You plant them carefully and it’s just like you set up your blog and your system for the first time. You connect the tools. You follow the instructions, do the work and give it the best possible environment to take root.
You add the grow light. It’s just like the tools and training and community that support your business growth. You cannot grow in the dark. Neither can a tomato plant.
Water Every Day
And then you water it daily. It’s just like showing up consistently for your business even when nothing visible is happening yet. Even when the numbers are small. Even when nobody seems to be watching. Others in the community help you learn what you need to know.
Because beneath the surface those tomato seeds are already at work. Something is always happening when you refuse to stop watering.
Your roots are going deeper. Your foundation is getting stronger. The business growth that nobody can see yet is the growth that makes everything else possible in the future.
I grow through the day’s work. And I keep watering the seeds. Now, it’s a waiting game.
Waiting For the First Leaves
Day one = nothing. Day five = nothing. Day ten = still nothing.
Fifteen days passed before I saw the first two tiny leaves push through the soil. Fifteen days of watering, watching and wondering if anything happens beneath the surface. But something WAS happening. Quietly. Invisibly. Persistently.

And then one day, just like day fifteen, something appears. Small at first. Tender and new. But absolutely real.
Then you discover your first reader of your blog. Your first follower from an ad. Your first personal reply that lets you know, “This helped me.”
Those are your first two leaves. And they change everything. Because now you know something important. It is real.

Motivational teacher Jim Rohn often spoke about a simple cycle of growth. They are Study. Practice. Teach.
First you study because you absorb everything you can. You watch. You listen. You stay curious even when the answers come slowly. (Just like watching those seeds every single day.)
