Writing Blogs, My Big Problem

Introduction

Writing Blogs and Follow the System, it’s not a Suggestion! So many new things to look at, remember and do. Felt like I was back in school, needing to organize. So, I just started to organize. Read the book and talked to my upline. I had never been on Skype, but was on g-mail. Now, we have switched to Meetn.

New terminology, new skills, never worked a business like this! Thing is, this business IS for those who want to succeed. This community “pays it forward”. Good thing! I need all the help I can get. I just had to learn how/why to ask. So, my big problem was: How to Write a Blog Page.

What is there about writing a 800-1000 word page about an idea or product that scares most of us silly? I mean, it puts the BIGGEST roadblocks in MY WAY! Thing is, I can call my cousin and never run out of anything to talk about for an hour!

What is the difference? I suspect for myself, it is my ATTITUDE that needed to change. I would like to give some points from my personal journey of learning to write 800-1000 words on a subject.

Try It, You Will Like Writing Blogs?

I started out thinking that it could not be that hard. Then, when I sat down to write about “X,” I had nothing except the words I was to exchange for mine. BUT, these weren’t my words, YET. So, I read that page at least 2-3 times.

Then, I realized I read it, just a sentence at a time. Well, that helped me not to think about those 800 words so much. Most of the paragraphs only had a few sentences and I could do “one at a time” to get through each paragraph. I also found some sentences were much easier than others.

Format?

Format was a requirement. Paragraph at the top and bottom. But, in between–“Oh, boy,” I would get tired of reading all those words and asked if I could change it a little. My given answer was, “Yes, but keep the information the same.”

Listing became very easy to do since most paragraphs had 3-5 points each. One day, I got ahead of myself and didn’t put them “in order,” but found out later that was OK. Whew! I still felt really slow at this job of modifying and wondered whenever I would get better.

Problems With Writing Blogs?

Problems in thinking seemed to swallow me! I wasn’t a word person like my preacher grandfather. He seemed to have a sermon every Sunday! Then, I realized we had cleared several bookcases of books when he passed. I also remembered from high school a “book of words”–thesaurus. That was my solution and something I could use on my computer.

At this point, I did not have many kind words for our English language. As I typed, the computer would underline (in red!) my errors. My best friend laughed at me and came over and showed me what to do. Thank goodness, for I did need help [newbie!].

Fish Out of Water?

Sometimes I would skip from one subject to another because I ran out of oomph. Calming my mind became a necessity since all of this was new stuff. I tried the TV with this–it didn’t work. Absolute quiet didn’t, either.

Finally, I found music and physical activity (lived on a farm) were my answers! In addition, I sampled biohacking supplements. They worked. So, I made sure I had a break or two while learning “how to.” I think my subconscious worked on my issue, since I could solve it afterwards.

Transitions in Writing Blogs?

Hey, I sorta knew what they were, but I wasn’t too adept with them when I first started writing blogs. My solution? I made myself a “paper list.” This was my “go to” and it sped up my page completion. Now, I have Rank Math and the work comes easier and quicker. Improvement over time! Yeah!

Oh, by the way. Our top guru did make that switch with our SEO program. Now, I have to learn “the art of keywords.” I have to change gears, once again. Keeping “in fashion” never ends, expecially in the technology world.

Conclusion (and Questions)

When I started I kept asking questions about writing blogs. It finally made sense to me. My puzzle was finally taking shape. I lost my fear, made the change and it was for the BEST! But, I still ask questions, still get stumped and continue on my journey. (Guess that will never change!)

“Follow the System” works. But, you realize after you get the first chapter written, you will WANT to write more! Another chapter and this time YOU have knowledge with which you can “Pay It Forward.” Success!

Writing a blog of 800-1000 words?

  1. You have lost the fear
  2. You have gained knowledge
  3. You have accomplished a goal
  4. You are on your way
  5. You have another goal to fulfill!
  • Ask your questions again and again
  • Faith will lose the fear, Belief will push you through
  • And change will be for the BEST!
