Wealth In Marketing

Wealth in Marketing. Whether you are the marketer, seller, consumer, ad poster or buyer, everyone participates in marketing. Previously, it was always present. The best advertising was by word-of-mouth. The locals were always “in the know.”

Advertising in Marketing

From the 1920’s and 1930’s, advertising was alive and kicking. Daniel Starch’s (B: March 8, 1883-D: Feb. 8, 1979) theory from the 1920’s formed the basis of advertising. His pioneering work about advertising resulted in two books, Advertising: Its Principles, Practice, and Technique and its follow-up Principles of Advertising (1923). His first love was psychology and another book, How to Develop your Executive Ability (1943) was authored.

On the other hand, he founded the marketing research company, Daniel Starch and Staff in 1923. Later, he resigned from Harvard to concentrate on his marketing company. He and his staff researched and devised methods of assessment concerning the effectiveness of various ads. In 1932, he simultaneously was consultant and director of research of the American Association of Advertising Agencies. His theory, known today as the “Starch Test,” states, “that advertising had to be seen, read, believed, remembered, and most importantly, acted upon, in order to be considered effective.” (Wikipedia) The Wealth in Marketing had begun and continues onward.

Wealth In Marketing--tabletop radio broadcasting advertising

The 1930’s was the advertising boom of radio. In the US, its reference was the Golden Age of Radio. For example, management realized that different sections of demographics had different results. Further, the end result was the public opinion poll, namely the Gallup Poll. If you were in the right place and the right time (seasons) and had the right advertisement, you were “right on the money.”

Major Shift in Marketing

Meanwhile, zoom forward to our current time and you realize the major shift in advertising from radio, to T.V., to computers and cellphones. In addition, books have shifted to audio and T.V. has started using the internet to reach their audience. Even newspapers also use the internet. In addition, YouTube continues to be a giant in the marketing video world. This is the New Marketing in Our World, with a twist.

So, it seems to me that the internet is the way to expand your own world. The internet provides for our online private school, Brainfood Academy. Further, the internet offers music and entertainment for everyone. However, we also have access to libraries which is great for further research and accuracy.

Google outclasses research done in a library’s dusty encyclopedias providing answers or a different outlook, in mere seconds. I laughingly call Google a brain-child. The new kid on the block is AI. Most have a “free” level, with a “pay to play” level if you want to do more research. The internet seems endless. Of course, there are times you need to “read with caution.” You’ll recognize when that happens, too.

Wealth In Marketing

Wealth in Marketing-"Marketing is Freedom" book written by Rory Ricord

One of the many books that discuss Marketing is Rory Ricord’s book, Marketing Is Freedom. In this book he has covered many aspects of marketing and how it works. The main sections of his book cover the following divisions: Changing Mindset and Priorities: Engineering and Incredible Future for All: Rory’s Marketing 101 Class Begins Here: Rory’s Applied Marketing 101 Class Begins Here: The Global Vision. Making the World Amazing.

His PBS System utilizes informational page blogging. Even when blogging, research is critical. If you know a bit about a subject, you look for more supporting information. Google has access to published papers, keywords and phrases, too. It is eye-opening to scrutinize several minutes worth of information about a subject matter, a specific individual or even a cookbook. In this way, your research effort for your blog has improved your marketing wealth.

Understanding Marketing and applying it by blogging gives you both happiness and wealth. Happiness because you have freedom of time to choose your priorities. Wealth also, because you control the flow of finances. True success is a balancing act for everyone, but when you have achieved your balance in your life, then true happiness is a forever smile.

When Ricord envisioned this dream, the economy was basically a brick and mortar business (1990’s), such as Sears, McDonalds and your local grocery store. Malls were the next step in marketing, giving two main businesses the lead, with the other smaller businesses on their coattails. Then the landscape changed, again.

Marketing Paid Forward

In 2000’s, technology changed computers from over-sized desktops to smaller but more powerful laptops. In addition, internet access had mushroomed into a mega-sized opportunity for “marketing without walls”! Ricord was ready for this shift in opportunity. He had sought out mentors that had answers and practices to his questions. Therefore, this activity honed his skills. The end result of all this study and acumen was the PBS System.

Wealth In Marketing--woman making money online

He designed it to pay it forward for those partners who were willing to do the same and duplicate his processes to gain in their own wealth. The partners’ own wealth is grown by duplicating Ricord’s marketing strategies. This was his strategy all along! This was his reason why he wanted to pay it forward.

He was not alone in this endeavor. His wife, Tanya, was the unseen force behind his accomplishments. She also, had internet businesses that she ran. In addition, Tanya organized their home-life of seven children. Their combined effort of helping others and paying it forward shows in Velovita promoting Rory and Tanya Ricord to North America-Master Distributors in 2024. What a giant step in paying it forward. What a team!

Marketing Wealth Without Walls

Yet, they were not finished. Rory and Tanya discussed how the PBS system could be improved without any “friction points.” They were trying to simplify the process and make it affordable, workable and financially stable to be a legacy that could be passed on from any partner to that partner’s family.

Above all, they wanted to offer life, longevity and hope to anyone willing to partner with them. The end result from all of this effort is a group of like-minded partners that have joined Tanya and Rory in paying it forward. This is an amazing choice and opportunity. All partners gain in financial and time freedom as they work and grow with this online system.

The greatest aspect of the PBS system is that it has global appeal. Partners are not hemmed in by walls at all-only by the availability of the internet. Overall, the partners’ lives have changed and they have success. Their mindset is one of Reset, Refocus and Recommit to PBS, an opener of doors, dreams and goals to growth and Wealth in Marketing.
